The Jangada FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hamílton Valadares should have stopped the shot. When Basílio Cosme fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hunters F.C's protests and gave Basílio Cosme a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th match minute, Hunters F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Cosme to maneuver through the defense.
