The referee gave Gabriel Monteiro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 28th match minute, Colinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Guedes in the 30th minute of play forced Colinas's goalkeeper Armando Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Guedes took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Paraíba. Armando Paraíba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tibúrcio Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute of the match Matías Viana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Paraíba skillfully saved the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Emendada's Clemente Guedes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Armando Paraíba. In the 85th minute, Basílio Prata made a precise shot to the right of Armando Paraíba. Colinas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 88th play minute Basílio Prata came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Armando Paraíba. 0-5. Basílio Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Armando Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Emendada eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
