Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute, Moju's José Maria Santana ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juarês Motta. Juarês Motta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Silvinho Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Fernando Freitas in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joélson de Andrade saved Moju from getting behind. Mambure's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when José Maria Santana scored to the left of an out of position Juarês Motta, making the score, 2-0. Juarês Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Santana in the 25th minute of play. Pedro Paulo Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Joélson de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natã Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson de Andrade having to interfere. Mambure's Juarês Motta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Mambure from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Maria Santana to make the kick off. Joélson de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Lara in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd match minute, Mambure was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Váldson Vidal to maneuver through the defense. José Maria Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Juarês Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Pedro Paulo Botelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasmo Reis charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erasmo Reis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Claudinho Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mambure's Digo Meirelles got a free kick in the 81st minute. Carlos Fernando Freitas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Joélson de Andrade made a huge save. Claudinho Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Juarês Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mambure's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Moju had won, even though Mambure had held more of the ball.
