Erik Faria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Vinícius Nóbrega made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiago Romero got free with Vinícius Nóbrega in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amadeu Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Clemente Prado the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Itapucu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Clemente Prado had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Itapucu's Artur Fontes was substituted for Adalmo Bezerra. Itapucu:s Vinícius Nóbrega showed great skill when he stopped Percy Palmeira:s penalty. In the 83rd minute of the match, Erik Faria got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vinícius Nóbrega was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Faria got free with Vinícius Nóbrega in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Botafogo de Delft's Vinícius Nóbrega threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elias de Alcântara, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. José Vítor de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Botafogo de Delft eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
