Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Teresa AD's Rui Leite started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chicão Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 minutes, Hernani Valadares made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Teresa AD's Chicão Soares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Rui Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Souza stood somewhat misplaced when Ediberto Custódio came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 20 minute. Júlio Dante hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Soeiro during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonas Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Chicão Soares came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Barbalha's Ian de Azevedo. But to his dismay, Ian de Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 42nd minute Rui Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teresa AD's Ediberto Custódio got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelo Souza came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Teresa AD's Ediberto Custódio. But to his dismay, Ediberto Custódio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ian de Azevedo made a kick off. Marcelo Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Rui Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teresa AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ediberto Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 minutes, Alan Maciel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barbalha and the Teresa AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Barbalha getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Alan Maciel hit a great ball. The Teresa AD fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Teresa AD's Ediberto Custódio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 75thth minute of the game Rui Leite who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barbalha's Marcelo Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Júlio Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 played minutes, Barbalha's Eliézer Arósio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chicão Soares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barbalha reached it. In the 87th minute, Ediberto Custódio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelo Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Romero's late challenge caught a Barbalha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Romero helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Teresa AD got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Romero. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Teresa AD had won after a very even match.
