In the 7th minute, Geovani Lago fired a really elegant long shot, but Elói Nogueira threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. 9 minutes into the match, Madeira's Renato Furtado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albertinho Oliveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Joel Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Elói Nogueira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Madeira's Elói Nogueira got control of the ball when Luiz Guilherme Tande tried to sneak it across the goal line. VOLTA REDONDA's Albertinho Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldão Couto in the 41st minute of play. Ronaldão Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Oliveira having to interfere.

52 minutes into the match, Madeira's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Tande came free, but Elói Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renato Furtado got free with Albertinho Oliveira in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Renato Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Oliveira having to interfere. Elói Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme Tande in the 62nd minute of the match. Elói Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renato Furtado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Albertinho Oliveira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elói Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme Tande in the 78th minute of the match. If Luiz Guilherme Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd minute, Ramón Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Madeira's Ronaldão Couto in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
