Mariante's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Orlando Secco scored to the left of an out of position Luiz Eduardo de Barros, making the score, 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Mariante's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristóvão Proença. The supporters of Paripe SC booed when Mariante was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Cristian Monteiro took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Zé Paulo Aguiar to make any attempt to save it. In the 59th minute, Cristian Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nico Perez in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Paulo Aguiar saved Paripe SC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvério Sergipano during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Orlando Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo de Barros having to interfere. Luiz Eduardo de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Proença in the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Cristian Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mariante's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Monteiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Paulo Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Pedrão Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
