Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tibúrcio Dante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Durval Cerezo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Bonsecesso's Guga Soares got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Estrelas de Roma's zone, Laerte Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Durval Cerezo came out of the goal and Laerte Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st match minute, Estrelas de Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé Maciel to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laerte Guimarães in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Durval Cerezo saved Estrelas de Roma from getting behind. Artur Lopes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caco Bittencourt's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. If Caco Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caco Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Kauã Bittencourt came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Estrelas de Roma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauã Bittencourt couldn't finish the play. Artur Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Bittencourt in the 44th minute of play. Durval Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laerte Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Estrelas de Roma were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caco Bittencourt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bonsecesso's Artur Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Bonsecesso from getting a goal against them. Guga Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. With a little luck, Bonsecesso's Artur Lopes got control of the ball when Caco Bittencourt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute, Guga Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caco Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Artur Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sérgio Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The supporters of Estrelas de Roma booed when Bonsecesso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caco Bittencourt succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 96th playminute.
