Severino da Costa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Estrelas de Roma's Caco Bittencourt shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 13 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Passos notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Fenômenos F.C's Severino da Costa. Severino da Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Severino da Costa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Estrelas de Roma's Cacá Velasco got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fenômenos F.C's Severino da Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Fenômenos F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute, Caco Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The supporters of Estrelas de Roma booed when Fenômenos F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Paulo Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estrelas de Roma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardinho Passos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Caco Bittencourt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino da Costa. Fenômenos F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caco Bittencourt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The corner led Estrelas de Roma's Dé Maciel to fire away a dangerous shot which Severino da Costa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Severino da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caco Bittencourt in the 92nd minute of the match. Fenômenos F.C's Severino da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Bittencourt in the 94th minute of play. Estrelas de Roma walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
