Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Evaristo Tavares started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Capistrano's Ezequiel Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Tavares in the 5th minute of play. After having played for 6 minutes, Denílson Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zevitoria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denílson Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stanislaw Domaradzki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Mineiro having to interfere. Ezequiel Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Moreno in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Zevitoria booed when Capistrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válter Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezequiel Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Tavares in the 22nd minute of play forced Capistrano's goalkeeper Ezequiel Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezequiel Mineiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evaristo Tavares went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Kauan Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Mineiro came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Zevitoria's Stanislaw Domaradzki. But to his dismay, Stanislaw Domaradzki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Evaristo Tavares might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ezequiel Mineiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evaristo Tavares ran back to his position shaking his head. Denílson Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ezequiel Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Telmo Saldanha came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Zevitoria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Telmo Saldanha couldn't finish the play. If Evaristo Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomé Berger was the one to do the kick off. Baltazar Recife hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Evaristo Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezequiel Mineiro was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Capistrano's goalkeeper Ezequiel Mineiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Evaristo Tavares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ezequiel Mineiro. Evaristo Tavares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Ezequiel Mineiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stanislaw Domaradzki went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The supporters of Capistrano booed when Zevitoria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Zevitoria's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Berger came free, but Róbson Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes, Telmo Saldanha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zevitoria and the Capistrano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zevitoria's Telmo Saldanha got a free kick in the 75th minute. A collision led to Zevitoria getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Evaristo Tavares hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Capistrano's Carlos Mattos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Róbson Furlan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, Evaristo Tavares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Ezequiel Mineiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Stanislaw Domaradzki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ezequiel Mineiro. That made the score 0-7 in the 85 minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Evaristo Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zevitoria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evaristo Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ezequiel Mineiro was a little too slow when Denílson Moreno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-8. When the match was over Zevitoria could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Capistrano throughout the match.
