Impecáis FC's Agnaldo Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Velasco in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Impecáis FC's zone, Eduardo Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agnaldo Dionísio came out of the goal and Eduardo Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christiano Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo Dionísio having to interfere. Christiano Moreno might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agnaldo Dionísio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christiano Moreno ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute, Christiano Moreno made a precise shot to the right of Agnaldo Dionísio. Impecáis FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 46th minute, Téo Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
