Dudu Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Guarulhos United MZC's Nicholas Kellermann in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Waldemar Mandrak charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waldemar Mandrak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Waldemar Mandrak hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Evaristo Viana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Vicente Barreto made a huge save. A collision led to Yuri Sport Club getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ian Medeiros hit a great ball. When Nicholas Kellermann came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Guarulhos United MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicholas Kellermann couldn't finish the play. Nicholas Kellermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicholas Kellermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Vicente Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Guarulhos United MZC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Yuri Sport Club were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicholas Kellermann to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Guarulhos United MZC booed when Yuri Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Guarulhos United MZC fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Guarulhos United MZC's Evaristo Viana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Kellermann in the 57th minute of play forced Yuri Sport Club's goalkeeper Vicente Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. César de Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dudu Mendonça having to make a save. If César de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Guarulhos United MZC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Osvaldinho Cordeiro hit a great ball. Dudu Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Nicholas Kellermann notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Yuri Sport Club's Vicente Barreto. Vicente Barreto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vicente Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Kellermann in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Evaristo Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicholas Kellermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Barreto having to interfere. Vicente Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Kellermann in the 87th minute of the match. When Guarulhos United MZC's Evaristo Viana in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yuri Sport Club's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Nicholas Kellermann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guarulhos United MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicholas Kellermann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Barreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Yuri Sport Club's Cássio Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dudu Mendonça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicholas Kellermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guarulhos United MZC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Yuri Sport Club for a fine match.
