Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicholas Kellermann to make the kick off. Cauan Lago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Diogo Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Kellermann in the 59th minute of play. If Nicholas Kellermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Guarulhos United MZC's Osvaldinho Cordeiro got a free kick in the 63rd minute. César de Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dudu Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Nicholas Kellermann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicente Barreto. Yuri Sport Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicholas Kellermann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 84th of the match, Nicholas Kellermann tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Vicente Barreto got in the way and made a wonderful save. 85 minutes into the match, Yuri Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Nicholas Kellermann came free, but Vicente Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amílton Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Guarulhos United MZC's goal looked a bit too open when César de Souza came free, but Dudu Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Guarulhos United MZC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
