Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) Dorival Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Dorival Prata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldão Tinoco's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 7th match minute, Tuparetama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme Chaves to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldão Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Prata having to interfere. Dorival Prata came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Toritama's Tiago Gabriel Dias. But to his dismay, Tiago Gabriel Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute, Glauco Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorival Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldão Tinoco in the 15th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Manfredo Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Toritama booed when Tuparetama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Augusto Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 minutes of play, Toritama's Ronaldão Tinoco made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorival Prata was left in no man's land by his defense there! 33 minutes into the match, Toritama's goalkeeper Joaquim Abreu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reinaldo Garcia. If Ronaldão Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Edmundo Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldão Tinoco in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorival Prata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Perivaldo Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Prata having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ronaldão Tinoco made the kick off in the second half. Dorival Prata made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Renatinho Baiano sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Tiago Gabriel Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toritama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Gabriel Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorival Prata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 61 played minutes Toritama got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Xavier. If Perivaldo Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorival Prata came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Toritama's Tiago Gabriel Dias. But to his dismay, Tiago Gabriel Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Reinaldo Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Abreu having to interfere. When Tiago Gabriel Dias came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Toritama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Gabriel Dias couldn't finish the play. Ronaldão Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Tuparetama's zone, Tiago Gabriel Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorival Prata came out of the goal and Tiago Gabriel Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th play minute Tiago Gabriel Dias came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dorival Prata. 1-4.
