Abelardo Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Maia having to interfere. Douglas Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Abelardo Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Douglas Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Roger Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Fusão Norte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Andrade couldn't finish the play. Roger Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Richard Velloso made a huge save. Ramón Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Richard Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rômulo Peres charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rômulo Peres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Canindezinho SC booed when Fusão Norte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rômulo Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Velloso came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Fusão Norte FC's Roger Andrade. But to his dismay, Roger Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramón Mandrak to make the kick off. Roger Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Velloso having to interfere. Canindezinho SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramón Mandrak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 74th minute, Canindezinho SC's Róbson Nóbrega ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Douglas Maia. Douglas Maia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 78th minute, Roger Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Tinoco during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Canindezinho SC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Teodoro Tinoco hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oswaldo Batista in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Douglas Maia saved Fusão Norte FC from getting behind. Roger Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fusão Norte FC had won after a very even match.
