Leonardo Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Sussuarana EC's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Moreira came free, but Tiago Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiago Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexsandro Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beto Moreira in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiago Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Leonardo Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Leonardo Sampaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beto Moreira had several of the Sussuarana EC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Tiago Trigo as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the match was over Matina could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sussuarana EC throughout the match.
