After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Teodoro Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot. DISTRITO 12's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Recife was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnaldo Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Recife in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Elder Pinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malheiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DISTRITO 12 the free kick. After 94 played minutes Malheiro got a freekick which was hit by Elder Pinho. DISTRITO 12's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
