Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Válbson Reis kicked off to start the match. If Charles de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Galáticos RN - FDFDF's Sílvio Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Egídio Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 played minutes, Galáticos RN - FDFDF's Donatello Macedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raphael Rezende came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Galáticos RN - FDFDF reached it. Francisco Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Egídio Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles de Almeida struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Raphael Rezende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galáticos RN - FDFDF. Egídio Breckenfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Válbson Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prea's supporters rose to their feet, but Válbson Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egídio Breckenfeld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 46 minutes, Válbson Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válbson Reis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Prea were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Rocha made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Charles de Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raphael Rezende was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After 52 minutes, Fausto Mesquita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prea and the Galáticos RN - FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 53 played minutes Prea got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Mesquita. In the 56th minute Galáticos RN - FDFDF were awarded a corner. Edgar Penha went to the cornerflag to take it. Raphael Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Hílton França dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Egídio Breckenfeld, 0-2. Fábio de Lara charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fábio de Lara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th minute, Charles de Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Egídio Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Paiva in the 84th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Prea's Egídio Breckenfeld threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Válbson Reis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Francisco Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Prea's Reinaldo Paiva got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90thth minute of the game Charles de Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Prea's Raphael Rezende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Prea getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Zé Paulo Secco hit a great ball. The Galáticos RN - FDFDF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Prea were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
