The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lúcio de Godoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Luizinho Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conrado Pontes was a little too slow when Cristiano Bittencourt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-1. Cristiano Bittencourt made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 59thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Conrado Pontes would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When Cristiano Bittencourt came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Clube Atletic Bairro Alto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Bittencourt couldn't finish the play. Cristiano Bittencourt had several of the Anajaz AD's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Conrado Pontes as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 83 minutes of play Clube Atletic Bairro Alto's Marcelo Peixoto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 83 played minutes Clube Atletic Bairro Alto got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Peixoto. After having played for 91 minutes, Cristiano Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Atletic Bairro Alto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Bittencourt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
