Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduardo do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Ricardinho Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Pedrão Veiga made a huge save. After 39 played minutes Pachamama FC got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Correia. If Ricardinho Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ediberto Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almir Senna in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Almir Senna to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pachamama FC booed when Jeromenha AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Bruno da Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeromenha AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Almir Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Pachamama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Evaristo Branco sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pachamama FC's Ediberto Antunes didn't even have to move. 69 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Paranaense notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Jeromenha AD's Pedrão Veiga. Pedrão Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Pachamama FC's zone, Bruno da Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ediberto Antunes came out of the goal and Bruno da Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Eduardo do Vale fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pachamama FC's protests and gave Eduardo do Vale a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Bruno da Silveira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jeromenha AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 88 minutes into the match, Jeromenha AD's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo do Vale came free, but Pedrão Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renato de Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renato de Andrade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 95 minutes into the match, Pachamama FC's goalkeeper Ediberto Antunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno da Silveira. Pachamama FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
