Ian de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Motta having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Ian de Almeida notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC INTERNACIONAL!!'s Dino Motta. Dino Motta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ediberto Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Marquez in the 8th minute of play. Dênis Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Carioca struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Dino Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bento. Ediberto Oliveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dênis Arantes in the 15th minute. Falcão Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ediberto Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ediberto Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Marquez in the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Bento booed when SC INTERNACIONAL!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ian de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 minutes of play, Bento's Ian de Almeida made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dino Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute, Dênis Arantes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bento's goalkeeper Ediberto Oliveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frederico Secco charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frederico Secco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, Bento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Secco to maneuver through the defense. Dino Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian de Almeida in the 46th minute of play. Luciano Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Dino Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Bento were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Falcão Marquez to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Ian de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SC INTERNACIONAL!!'s Dino Motta got control of the ball when Luciano Carioca tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Falcão Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian de Almeida in the 65th minute of play. Kiko Cosme charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kiko Cosme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kiko Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After having played with SC INTERNACIONAL!!'s defense Víktor Corrêa in the 75th minute fired away a shot at goal just outside the top left corner. A bit more spin and it would have been a certain goal. A collision led to SC INTERNACIONAL!! getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Kiko Cosme hit a great ball. Dino Motta made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Luciano Carioca sent off a good shot on target. Luciano Carioca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ediberto Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bento getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Frederico Secco hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dênis Arantes in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ediberto Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão Marquez in the 84th minute of play forced Bento's goalkeeper Ediberto Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luciano Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 98 minutes, Luciano Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Carioca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
