If Luciano Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ian de Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeu Nascimento was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Raí de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Luciano Carioca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 43 minutes of play, Bento's Luciano Carioca made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romeu Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christiano Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ediberto Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 53 minutes, Augusto Gaspar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bento and the Falcon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Augusto Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Falcão Maciel charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Falcão Maciel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With an all-out effort, Bento's Romeu Nascimento threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ian de Almeida, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ediberto Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvinho Cardozo in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Bento's goal looked a bit too open when Silvinho Cardozo came free, but Ediberto Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Luciano Carioca fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Romeu Nascimento made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Luciano Carioca sent off a good shot on target. Christiano Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ediberto Oliveira having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Falcon FC got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Rosa. Frederico Secco was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Frederico Secco hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th match minute, Bento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Xavier, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ediberto Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ediberto Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Rosa in the 94th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
