Nico Paraense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Waldir Madureira made a huge save. César Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Waldir Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of iTrade BTC booed when Seival SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes in the game, Adrianinho da Rocha dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 14 minutes, Adrianinho da Rocha made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Seival SC's Virgílio Amaral tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nico Paraense got free with Waldir Madureira in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the game, César Branco lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Waldir Madureira. In the 27th minute, Adrianinho da Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgílio Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Waldir Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Branco in the 33rd minute of the match. Nico Paraense might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waldir Madureira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nico Paraense ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Seival SC booed when iTrade BTC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldir Madureira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nico Paraense went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nico Paraense was the one to do the kick off. Adrianinho da Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgílio Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Waldir Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Branco in the 59th minute of play. In the 66thth minute of the game César Branco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but iTrade BTC's Waldir Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Nico Paraense came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Seival SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Paraense couldn't finish the play. Waldir Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Paraense in the 71st minute of play. César Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Adrianinho da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrianinho Trancoso hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. iTrade BTC's Waldir Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruninho Cardozo in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Oswaldo Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nico Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Waldir Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. iTrade BTC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
