Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Giovanni Bastos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gilberto Moreira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juarês Correia. Marema's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Marema's Juarês Correia got control of the ball when Iuri Santana tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Xixas defense, Sümer Verim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Reis. The Xixas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Reis should have stopped the shot. Xixas's Víktor Massa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Juarês Correia but with some difficulty. When Manoel de Toledo fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xixas's protests and gave Manoel de Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. Marema made a substitution. José Tróia replaced Guga Paranaense. 18 minutes into the match, Xixas's goal looked a bit too open when Sümer Verim came free, but Thiago Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juarês Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Paulão Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th minute Paulão Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Sauveur in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes of play, Marema's Sümer Verim made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Reis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wilfredo Sauveur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Reis having to interfere. Sümer Verim scored 0-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Reis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Sauveur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Reis was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sümer Verim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernardinho Pena's late challenge caught a Marema's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardinho Pena helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Bernardinho Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Reis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sümer Verim in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute Wilfredo Sauveur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute Giovanni Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 69th minute of the match Renato Messias completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Renato Messias a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Marema! Juarês Correia had in the 71stth minute some difficulties stopping Denílson Bueno's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Juarês Correia came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Xixas's Denílson Bueno. But to his dismay, Denílson Bueno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Giovanni Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juarês Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giovanni Bastos's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Thiago Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Sauveur in the 77th minute of play. During the 79th minute of the match Bernardinho Pena completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bernardinho Pena a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Bernardinho Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Manoel de Toledo was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Marema made a substitution. Jeferson de Almeida replaced Cristian Trigo. Manoel de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 88 minutes in the game, Wilfredo Sauveur fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Thiago Reis having to interfere. Tales Jacinto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 100th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thiago Reis. Xixas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marema played a much better game than Xixas and deserved their victory. The Xixas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
