Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when André Luís Santana took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Mairipora EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Valle came free, but Giuseppe Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldir Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Giuseppe Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matheus da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Neves in the 12th minute of play forced Mairipora EC's goalkeeper Giuseppe Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto de Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto de Carvalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, one of Mairipora EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mairipora EC. Giuseppe Leite went to the wrong direction when Zé Loyola was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If André Luís Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute André Luís Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, André Luís Santana notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Jequia's Matheus da Fonseca. Matheus da Fonseca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Jequia getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. José Matorin hit a great ball. If Gustavo Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Waldir Berger was the one to do the kick off. Claudinho Ramos hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Gustavo Valle in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Giuseppe Leite, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jequia! Kauan Luz placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Dadá Neves's late challenge caught a Mairipora EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dadá Neves helped the player get up and apologised. Dadá Neves hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute André Luís Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dadá Neves was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. When Mairipora EC's André Luís Santana, in the 74th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Mairipora EC. 76 minutes into the match, Jequia's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Ramos came free, but Matheus da Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If André Luís Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, Jequia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Araújo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 91 minutes, Gustavo Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jequia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marquinhos Araújo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Matheus da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luís Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 99thth minute of the game André Luís Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jequia's Matheus da Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
