FHSR FC's Mauro Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vladimir Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 11 minutes, Chicão Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirapemas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chicão Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladimir Lopez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredão de Sousa having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Vladimir Lopez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfredão de Sousa. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Pirapemas's goalkeeper Alfredão de Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Ribeiro. Vladimir Lopez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. FHSR FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Ribeiro got free with Alfredão de Sousa in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mauro Ribeiros short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Alfredão de Sousa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimir Lopez in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredão de Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36thth minute of the game Chicão Lara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FHSR FC's Virgílio Neto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vladimir Lopez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredão de Sousa having to make a save. In the 39th minute, Vladimir Lopez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alfredão de Sousa, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Ribeiro in the 45th minute of play forced Pirapemas's goalkeeper Alfredão de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vladimir Lopez to make the kick off. Vladimir Lopez might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredão de Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vladimir Lopez ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Vladimir Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. FHSR FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredão de Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredão de Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Ribeiro in the 55th minute of the match. Pirapemas's Alfredão de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson Penha in the 58th minute of play. Vladimir Lopez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredão de Sousa having to make a save. In the 65th minute Vladimir Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chicão Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgílio Neto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chicão Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfredão de Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Alfredão de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Tande during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes FHSR FC got a freekick which was hit by Artur Tande. In the 81st minute, Mauro Ribeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FHSR FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. FHSR FC's Vladimir Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pirapemas's Adilson Batista got a free kick in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Pirapemas's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Ribeiro came free, but Alfredão de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimir Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Alfredão de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Lopez in the 95th minute of play forced Pirapemas's goalkeeper Alfredão de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimir Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Alfredão de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that FHSR FC were the better team. FHSR FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
