Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Diamantino Messias took the kick off in the first half of the match. Juarês Teixeira came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Jary's Diego Abreu. But to his dismay, Diego Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14th minute, Valério Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the game, Diamantino Messias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maicon Marques. Diamantino Messias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nilton Teixeira in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juarês Teixeira saved Laudja from getting behind. The supporters of Jary booed when Laudja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Gugu Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laudja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gugu Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, Diego Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Laudja getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Cacá das Neves hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Laudja's zone, Nilton Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juarês Teixeira came out of the goal and Nilton Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juarês Teixeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nilton Teixeira went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Nilton Teixeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juarês Teixeira was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diamantino Messias in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maicon Marques saved Jary from getting behind. Jary's Arthur Loureiro got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Laudja booed when Jary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute of the match Cacá das Neves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maicon Marques showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diamantino Messias in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maicon Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Jary's Alfredinho Galvão got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Loureiro in the 77th minute of play forced Laudja's goalkeeper Juarês Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maicon Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Azevedo in the 80th minute of play. Diamantino Messias might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maicon Marques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diamantino Messias ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Eliseu Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laudja's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseu Pirani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maicon Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Jary's Diego Abreu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juarês Teixeira. Juarês Teixeira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4.
