Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo José Paranaense started the match with the kick off. Laudja's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Paulo José Paranaense scored to the left of an out of position Juarês Teixeira, making the score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Beija-Flor EC's zone, Eliseu Pirani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséias de Sena came out of the goal and Eliseu Pirani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mário Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laudja's Juarês Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Laudja from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute of the match, Mário Figueiredo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Juarês Teixeira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Juarês Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo José Paranaense in the 16th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Laudja got a freekick which was hit by Valério Dantas. In the 28th minute, Eliseu Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the game, Betinho Xavier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beija-Flor EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laudja the free kick. Oséias de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Quaresma in the 38th minute of play forced Laudja's goalkeeper Juarês Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juarês Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Betinho Xavier in the 39th minute. Juarês Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Quaresma in the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Mário Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beija-Flor EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laudja's Juarês Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Laudja from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diamantino Messias made a kick off. Valério Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55thth minute of the game Betinho Xavier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laudja's Juarês Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laudja's Juarês Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo José Paranaense in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo José Paranaense in the 67th minute of play forced Laudja's goalkeeper Juarês Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes, Roger Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laudja and the Beija-Flor EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Beija-Flor EC a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Falcão Pirani, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Laudja's Juarês Teixeira. 3-0. Eliseu Pirani hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Oséias de Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diamantino Messias's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Juarês Teixeira came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Beija-Flor EC's Betinho Xavier. But to his dismay, Betinho Xavier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Betinho Xavier struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Juarês Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beija-Flor EC. After a rather tough play, Laudja's Eliseu Pirani got a free kick in the 96th minute. Beija-Flor EC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
