After 2 played minutes Almesquinha AD got a freekick which was hit by Chico Loureiro. Chico Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Lara having to interfere. A collision led to Cidreira SS getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Caio Dantas hit a great ball. Christiano Dias has a good long shot, which he once again showed in the 14th minute of the match. Unfortunately the ball hit the outside of the left post. Marquinhos Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Lara having to interfere. Raimundo Lara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chico Loureiro went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the match, Cidreira SS's goalkeeper Raimundo Lara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chico Loureiro. Cidreira SS's Allan Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Almesquinha AD getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Christiano Dias hit a great ball. Cidreira SS's Wilson Cerezo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Almesquinha AD. In the 28th match minute, Almesquinha AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Teles to maneuver through the defense. Allan Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erivaldo Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chico Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marquinhos Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chico Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Raimundo Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Allan Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Cidreira SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Nascimento couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marquinhos Guedes was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, one of Almesquinha AD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Cidreira SS. Wilson Cerezo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Percival Leal. 1-1. Pedrinho Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Raimundo Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 2-1 became the score in the 61st minute when Chico Loureiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Percival Leal was a little too slow when Allan Nascimento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erivaldo Pirani got free with Percival Leal in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Jefferson Teles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimundo Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After a rather tough play, Almesquinha AD's Jefferson Teles got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Erivaldo Pirani kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 84thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Almesquinha AD's keeper Percival Leal was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Chico Loureiro struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Raimundo Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almesquinha AD. Raimundo Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Loureiro in the 92nd minute of the match. Almesquinha AD were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Cidreira SS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Christiano Dias took the corner. Pedrinho Sampaio charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedrinho Sampaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Almesquinha AD's Pedrinho Sampaio got a free kick in the 97th minute.
