The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tales Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovani Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Campo Verde's attack was well implemented in the 16th minute, but when Dino Dantas was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Eurico Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campo Verde's supporters rose to their feet, but Eurico Soeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nelsinho Barreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dino Dantas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Nelsinho Barreto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 20th minute, Tarcisio de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Nelsinho Barreto managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Campo Verde's Dino Dantas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Campo Verde's Tales Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovani Dracena in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Eurico Soeiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Nelsinho Barreto however easily saved by the left post. Tales Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tarcisio de Lara went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Fabinho Pimenta came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Campo Verde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabinho Pimenta couldn't finish the play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giuseppe Mello to make the kick off. Fabinho Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Claudinho Valle made in the 55th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Chicão de Alcântara however managed to control. Dino Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eurico Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nelsinho Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Soeiro in the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Ubari's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Soeiro came free, but Nelsinho Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Campo Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rdth minute of the game Dino Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ubari's Nelsinho Barreto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tales Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílton Gomes in the 85th minute of play. Nelsinho Barreto came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Campo Verde's Dino Dantas. But to his dismay, Dino Dantas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Eurico Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Nelsinho Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eurico Soeiro came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Campo Verde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eurico Soeiro couldn't finish the play.
