Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alfredo de Almeida got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Alfredo de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Ricardo Rossi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Armandinho Trevisan to make any attempt to save it. Barbacena EC's Frédson Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho de Almeida in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Barbacena EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Alfredo de Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frédson Fonseca was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Carlos Eduardo Paranaense hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, Ricardo Rossi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armandinho Trevisan. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 16 played minutes Barbacena EC got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas de Queiroz. After a defensive mix-up in Barbacena EC's zone, Silvinho de Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frédson Fonseca came out of the goal and Silvinho de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arí Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Armandinho Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arí Lopes struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Armandinho Trevisan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barbacena EC. 31 minutes into the match, Barbacena EC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvinho de Almeida came free, but Frédson Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Ricardo Rossi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Armandinho Trevisan. The goal made the score 3-0. Jatal's Armandinho Trevisan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Jatal from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardo Rossi to strike the kick off in the second half. Armandinho Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Rossi in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Ricardo Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbacena EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Ricardo Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frédson Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Frédson Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Matorin in the 64th minute of play. Arí Lopes scored 5-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armandinho Trevisan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardo Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 72 played minutes, Barbacena EC's Álvaro Prestes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Armandinho Trevisan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barbacena EC reached it. Barbacena EC's Ricardo Rossi got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 78 minutes, Alfredo de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jatal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo de Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Alfredo de Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 83 minutes, Silvinho de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jatal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvinho de Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Jatal's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Lopes came free, but Armandinho Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Rossi might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armandinho Trevisan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Rossi ran back to his position shaking his head. Armandinho Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Lopes in the 92nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alfredo de Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frédson Fonseca was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barbacena EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jatal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
