Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexsandro Paraense started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Kristof Bekker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th match minute, Campinense Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. Dida Linhares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sandro Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Paraense in the 11th minute of play. Alexsandro Paraense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandro Pontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Pedro Augusto Dionísio's late challenge caught a Isengard Squad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Dida Linhares came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Isengard Squad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dida Linhares couldn't finish the play. Kristof Bekker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Sandro Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laureano Oxarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dida Linhares in the 31st minute of the match. Dida Linhares struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Laureano Oxarra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Isengard Squad. Sandro Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristof Bekker, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Alexsandro Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelinho Araújo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexsandro Paraense in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandro Pontes saved Isengard Squad from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Alexsandro Paraense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandro Pontes was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Laureano Oxarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dida Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Dida Linhares scored 1-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laureano Oxarra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The supporters of Campinense Futebol Clube booed when Isengard Squad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diguinho Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Sandro Pontes managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Campinense Futebol Clube's Alexsandro Paraense fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 80th minute, Erasmo Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Alexsandro Paraense put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sandro Pontes. César Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Laureano Oxarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
