When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manfredo Almeida made a kick off. Tadeu Godoi's late challenge caught a Solanea EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeu Godoi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Galileia's Tadeu Godoi got a free kick in the 91st minute. Solanea EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valério Pimenta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The Galileia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
