The wind increased when Cauan Cerezo made the kick off in the second half. Panema's Eduardo Vianna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Adolfo Mazza in the 56th minute of play. When Umary SC's Dudu Abraão in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panema's goalie prevented a goal. But to his dismay, Dudu Abraão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cauan Cerezo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Victor Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Rodriguinho de Barros made a huge save. When Reginaldo Vander fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panema's protests and gave Reginaldo Vander a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Panema got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Vander. Reginaldo Vander got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 75th minute, Reginaldo Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Umary SC's Dudu Abraão got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dudu Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
