When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Elói Tinoco sped through Vascão Da Massa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hamílton Pernambucano. Elói Tinoco scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hamílton Pernambucano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Vascão Da Massa's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Tinoco came free, but Hamílton Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Simão Sanches notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Vascão Da Massa's Hamílton Pernambucano. Hamílton Pernambucano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Vascão Da Massa's Valdo Borges got a free kick in the 75th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Vascão Da Massa's goalkeeper Hamílton Pernambucano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simão Sanches. 81 minutes into the match, Vascão Da Massa's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Tinoco came free, but Hamílton Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simão Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Elói Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Aelegrete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elói Tinoco couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aelegrete eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
