An unexpectedly hard shot by Elói Tinoco in the 9th minute of play forced Razeirense FC's goalkeeper Wágner Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simão Sanches who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Wágner Carneiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Aílton Penha fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aelegrete's protests and gave Aílton Penha a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Aelegrete got a freekick which was hit by Aílton Penha. In the 17th match minute, Aelegrete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. Wágner Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Ulisses Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Razeirense FC's Ulisses Albuquerque got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Genílson Cordeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo de Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Wágner Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 30 minutes, Genílson Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Razeirense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genílson Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulisses Albuquerque took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jairo de Godoi. Jairo de Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ulisses Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Aelegrete's Aílton Penha got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 45th minute, Genílson Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ulisses Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulisses Albuquerque to strike the kick off in the second half. Genílson Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Ulisses Albuquerque made a precise shot to the right of Jairo de Godoi. Aelegrete's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Wágner Carneiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Diego Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Simão Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wágner Carneiro having to interfere. Jairo de Godoi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Genílson Cordeiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 86 minute of play. The supporters of Aelegrete booed when Razeirense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Simão Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elói Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Razeirense FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
