In the 29thth minute of the game 柳昆桑 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bogotá F.C's Eriberto Dionísio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giorgos Anatolakis hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Acácio Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Guedes in the 47th minute of play.

Acácio Leal came out of the goal and Jardel Botelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Severino Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bogotá F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Egídio Mattos scored to the left of an out of position Eriberto Dionísio, making the score, 0-4. Severino Secco hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Bogotá F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BERNEX E.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
