Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felipe Loureiro started the match with the kick off. Jefferson Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Nascimento in the 3rd minute of the match. Felipe Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Oscar Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Flávio Arantes put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Oscar Damião. Cacal SS's Oscar Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Vargas in the 10th minute of play. Oscar Damião showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Adalberto Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosmonautas Paulistas's Flávio Arantes got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cacal SS's Oscar Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Quintal in the 17th minute of play. Tadeu Gerber hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, Jonas Vargas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Oscar Damião was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Cosmonautas Paulistas fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Cosmonautas Paulistas's Jonas Vargas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Flávio Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 28th minute, Fred Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flávio Arantes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Damião read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Arlindo Albuquerque had several of the Cosmonautas Paulistas's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Jefferson Sousa as he didn't even see the shot coming. 36 minutes into the match, Cosmonautas Paulistas's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Bueno came free, but Jefferson Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Felipe Loureiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Oscar Damião was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arlindo Albuquerque got free with Jefferson Sousa in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flávio Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cacal SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cosmonautas Paulistas were winning 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christiano Bueno made a kick off. Felipe Loureiro's shot from long distance in the 54th minute was not bad at all, but Cacal SS's Oscar Damião knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Jonas Vargas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. Cosmonautas Paulistas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fred Quintal scored 1-5 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Damião, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arlindo Albuquerque hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Jonas Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Oscar Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Loureiro couldn't finish the play. Oscar Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Quintal in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Fred Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cosmonautas Paulistas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Quintal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oscar Damião made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Jonas Vargas sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute Christiano Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Damião made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flávio Arantes in the 81st minute. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Felipe Loureiro took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Oscar Damião to make any attempt to save it. Fred Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felipe Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Cosmonautas Paulistas's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Bueno came free, but Jefferson Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flávio Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Oscar Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
