A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Maxixeiro's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Travassos came free, but Benjamim Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Mauro Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Mané de Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Dorian Baiano. Igaracu SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Mané de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conrado Travassos to strike the kick off in the second half. Dorian Baiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guilherme de Souza's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Mané de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolfo Barral hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. With his leg Dorian Baiano managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Maxixeiro's Guilherme de Souza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 70th minute, Guilherme de Souza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dorian Baiano. The goal made the score 0-3. Mané de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th match minute, Igaracu SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Barral to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Dorian Baiano managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Maxixeiro's Mané de Alcântara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 85 minutes Igaracu SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Renan Arósio who took care of the corner kick. Guilherme de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Baiano having to interfere. If Guilherme de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Maxixeiro eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
