Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fartura's Wilson de Castro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Limpeza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho Reis to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Joaquim Fernandes from long distance, 5 minutes into the match, got Vinícius Lago's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Wilson de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nelson Marinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zézinho Terra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nelson Marinho ran back to his position shaking his head. Rômulo Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zézinho Terra having to interfere. Renatinho Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Fartura's Joaquim Fernandes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vinícius Lago but with some difficulty. 16 minutes into the match, Limpeza FC's goalkeeper Vinícius Lago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tales Veloso. Tales Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Nelson Marinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zézinho Terra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Nelson Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Limpeza FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelson Marinho couldn't finish the play. Vinícius Lago made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Tales Veloso sent off a good shot on target. If Rômulo Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Limpeza FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fartura:s goal. The goalkeeper, Vinícius Lago, was totally fooled by Fartura's Joaquim Fernandes, who 46 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Rômulo Brodel made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Rômulo Brodel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fartura's Zézinho Terra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilson de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Limpeza FC's zone, Tales Veloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinícius Lago came out of the goal and Tales Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 57 minutes, Guga Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limpeza FC and the Fartura players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Limpeza FC got a freekick which was hit by Guga Ramos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tales Veloso in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinícius Lago saved Limpeza FC from getting behind. Zézinho Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo Brodel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 played minutes Fartura got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Alves. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rômulo Brodel in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zézinho Terra saved Fartura from getting behind. Nelson Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 played minutes Limpeza FC got a freekick which was hit by Caio Prado. In the 70th minute of the match, Nelson Marinho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zézinho Terra was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 72nd minute, Caio Prado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Limpeza FC's Rômulo Brodel in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fartura's goalie prevented a goal. Vinícius Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson de Castro in the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to Limpeza FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Caio Prado hit a great ball. When Dênis Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Limpeza FC's protests and gave Dênis Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Limpeza FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fartura:s goal. The referee gave Fartura a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joaquim Fernandes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Limpeza FC's Vinícius Lago. 2-1. If Caio Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rômulo Brodel in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zézinho Terra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 98 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Nelson Marinho sped through Fartura's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zézinho Terra. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
