The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonsinho Mangueira was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Crioulas got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Madureira. 56 minutes into the match, Crioulas's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Terra came free, but Marcelo Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonsinho Mangueira in the 59th minute of play forced Acougue's goalkeeper Gabriel Morais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Sebastião Terra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Marcelo Ferreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Válter de Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Acougue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Válter de Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Afonsinho Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Morais having to interfere. There was no doubt that Acougue were the better team. Acougue's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
