Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Ediberto Martins made the kick off and thus started the match. When Gonçalo Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Ipoeiras SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonçalo Quirino couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moisés Baptista in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernandinho Arruda saved Caldeiroes FC from getting behind. In the 12thth minute of the game Moisés Baptista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caldeiroes FC's Fernandinho Arruda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Moisés Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute Gonçalo Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandinho Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Tomás Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caldeiroes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fábio Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ediberto Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Vieira having to interfere. Inácio Maia's late challenge caught a Caldeiroes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inácio Maia helped the player get up and apologised. Inácio Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Caldeiroes FC's Ediberto Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ipoeiras SC's Gonçalo Quirino in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caldeiroes FC's goalie prevented a goal. Moisés Baptista took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernandinho Arruda. Fernandinho Arruda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Ediberto Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Gonçalo Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Ipoeiras SC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ediberto Martins might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Fábio Vieira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ediberto Martins ran back to his position shaking his head. When Cícero Sampaio fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ipoeiras SC's protests and gave Cícero Sampaio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Caldeiroes FC booed when Ipoeiras SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ediberto Martins in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fábio Vieira saved Ipoeiras SC from getting behind. Pedrão Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Ipoeiras SC's Gonçalo Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moisés Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caldeiroes FC's Fernandinho Arruda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Caldeiroes FC from getting a goal against them. Ediberto Martins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Fábio Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Gonçalo Quirino in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fernandinho Arruda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 73 in the game by Gonçalo Quirino from a close distance when the talented Fernandinho Arruda managed to make a qualified save. Caldeiroes FC's players were relieved. Ediberto Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Fernando Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Vieira having to interfere. The Caldeiroes FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ipoeiras SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ipoeiras SC.
