Os Imbativeis FC's Silas Vianna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Os Imbativeis FC from getting a goal against them. Silas Vianna was a little too slow when Geovanni de Brito got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 27th minute, Leandro Nogueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Umburanas SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Geovanni de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Silas Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Os Imbativeis FC's goalkeeper Silas Vianna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Nogueira. Leandro Nogueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Silas Vianna made a huge save. Silas Vianna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldir Marques's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Sandro Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Vianna having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Umburanas SS's Waldir Marques ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silas Vianna. Silas Vianna yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Waldir Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Silas Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flávio de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Os Imbativeis FC's Silas Vianna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Lima in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waldir Marques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
