After 19 minutes, Luiz Fernando Travassos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guaçuano FC and the Brahmaton Ilha Bela F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luiz Fernando Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Rafinha da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jânio Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brahmaton Ilha Bela F.C.'s Ernesto Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcinho Ortiz in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Caetano Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Goiano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 36 minutes into the game, Davi das Neves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Ernesto Goiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ernesto Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Ernesto Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcinho Ortiz in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Caetano Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Telmo Arósio from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Jânio Pena's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After the first half Guaçuano FC were leading 2-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Davi das Neves to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Guaçuano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafinha da Silva came free, but Jânio Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brahmaton Ilha Bela F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Davi das Neves scored to the left of an out of position Ernesto Goiano, making the score, 2-6. Ernesto Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Soeiro in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Brahmaton Ilha Bela F.C.'s Rafinha da Silva fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 66th minute, Guaçuano FC's Marcinho Ortiz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-7. Davi das Neves succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-8. When Brahmaton Ilha Bela F.C.'s Raimundo Maciel in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Guaçuano FC's Jânio Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafinha da Silva in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the game, Marcinho Ortiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-9. Ernesto Goiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Brahmaton Ilha Bela F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guaçuano FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Guaçuano FC.
