Igor Penha started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Parurus EC's Túlio Lara got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 4th minute Tostão Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Deivid Lima notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Parurus EC's Celso Zonta. Celso Zonta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of CORINTHIANS booed when Parurus EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Túlio Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 15 minutes on the clock, Marcel Salgado commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Parurus EC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Marcel Salgado hit a great ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Deivid Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CORINTHIANS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deivid Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Túlio Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Parurus EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CORINTHIANS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Parurus EC's Túlio Lara got a free kick in the 20th minute. Celso Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 29 played minutes Parurus EC got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Salles. Bruno Saldanha charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Saldanha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Parurus EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Parurus EC's Celso Zonta got control of the ball when Emery Dietrich tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Deivid Lima put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Celso Zonta. 45 minutes into the match, Parurus EC's goalkeeper Celso Zonta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deivid Lima. After 47 minutes, Conrado Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parurus EC and the CORINTHIANS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CORINTHIANS booed when Parurus EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tostão Maciel made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of CORINTHIANS booed when Parurus EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emery Dietrich, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Celso Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão Maciel in the 58th minute of the match. Celso Zonta came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by CORINTHIANS's Deivid Lima. But to his dismay, Deivid Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 68 minutes into the match, Parurus EC's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Ahlrot came free, but Celso Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Túlio Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Linares having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Arthur Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When CORINTHIANS's Tostão Maciel in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Parurus EC's goalie prevented a goal. 86 minutes into the match, Parurus EC's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Esteves came free, but Celso Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Ahlrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emery Dietrich in the 94th minute of play forced Parurus EC's goalkeeper Celso Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the CORINTHIANS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
