Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Luís Cabral started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Fabrício Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 played minutes Estrellas got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo de Azevedo. Nilmar Sampaio might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ezequiel Motta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nilmar Sampaio ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Nilmar Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. BDP's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilmar Sampaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Motta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th match minute, Estrellas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 16thth minute of the game Luiz Fabiano Vaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estrellas's Ezequiel Motta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when BDP's Nilmar Sampaio in the 20th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ezequiel Motta was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Estrellas through an amazing save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Gustavo Meireles during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Estrellas defense, Fernando Esteves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ezequiel Motta. The Estrellas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ezequiel Motta should have stopped the shot. When Estrellas's Thiago Maciel in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BDP's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Estrellas's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Sampaio came free, but Ezequiel Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in BDP's zone, Luís Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrianinho Zonta came out of the goal and Luís Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, BDP's Luiz Fabiano Vaz got a free kick in the 46th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Cabral in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrianinho Zonta prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The wind increased when Nilmar Sampaio made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Thiago Maciel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BDP's Adrianinho Zonta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ezequiel Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Estrellas's Rui da Rocha got a free kick in the 56th minute. Nilmar Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Adrianinho Zonta managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Estrellas's Thiago Maciel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ezequiel Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Esteves in the 65th minute of the match. Edinho Baiano's late challenge caught a Estrellas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edinho Baiano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, BDP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edinho Baiano to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute Rui da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezequiel Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Fernando Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ezequiel Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Cabral in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrianinho Zonta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 84 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Vaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BDP and the Estrellas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute Luís Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Francisco Velasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BDP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estrellas the free kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Estrellas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
