Spectators: 7229 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paulo Arce kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Richard Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in AC Mariana's zone, Paulo Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Maciel came out of the goal and Paulo Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute Nico Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Arce struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Vicente Maciel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skinny Bros F.C. 25 minutes into the match, AC Mariana's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Arce came free, but Vicente Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nico Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Maciel having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Skinny Bros F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráusio Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo de Carvalhos short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Giovani Teles to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Paulo Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Régis Ramos made a kick off. Vicente Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Nico Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Skinny Bros F.C's Paulo Arce dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Régis Ramos's late challenge caught a Skinny Bros F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Régis Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes AC Mariana got a freekick which was hit by Régis Ramos. Paulo Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Skinny Bros F.C booed when AC Mariana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Nico Sampaio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to AC Mariana getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Filipe Baptista hit a great ball. Paulo Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Vicente Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Régis Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Teles having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Skinny Bros F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo de Carvalho came free, but Giovani Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
