In the 35th match minute, Goes SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Basílio Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Goes SS booed when Campestre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Zilles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fred Pontes to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Luan Lopes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Tibúrcio Montenegro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Pontes in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tibúrcio Montenegro saved Campestre from getting behind. Luan Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Campestre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Guedes to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Celsinho Abreu took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Tibúrcio Montenegro to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Goes SS's zone, Ernesto Di Fiore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Paulo Bueno came out of the goal and Ernesto Di Fiore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Celsinho Abreu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. In the 72nd minute Hilario Oihan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luan Lopes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tibúrcio Montenegro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ernesto Di Fiore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Paulo Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Oihan in the 81st minute of the match. Didi Zilles hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Edmílson Bezerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Campestre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goes SS the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Campestre fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Tibúrcio Montenegro, was totally fooled by Goes SS's Artur Viana, who 85 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luan Lopes got free with Tibúrcio Montenegro in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luan Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibúrcio Montenegro having to interfere. After 92 minutes, Joaquim Donato mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campestre and the Goes SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Luan Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goes SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Luan Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tibúrcio Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fred Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibúrcio Montenegro having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Goes SS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
