Hilario Oihan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Frédson Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frédson Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Di Fiore, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Indaiatuba's Daniel Mello got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 27 played minutes Sport Club Indaiatuba got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Lucas. If Hilario Oihan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Hilario Oihan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frédson Paraense. Sport Club Indaiatuba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hilario Oihan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hilario Oihan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Paraense having to interfere. Tibúrcio Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Guilabertus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Di Fiore in the 38th minute of play forced Sport Club Indaiatuba's goalkeeper Frédson Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frédson Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Di Fiore in the 44th minute of the match. Gabriel Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Mello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Campestre's Hilario Oihan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frédson Paraense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gabriel Terra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 59 played minutes Sport Club Indaiatuba got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Mello. Sport Club Indaiatuba's Daniel Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tibúrcio Montenegro came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Indaiatuba's Gabriel Terra. But to his dismay, Gabriel Terra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Tibúrcio Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Terra in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes in the game João Pedro Vinhas did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Wilton Saraiva. Ernesto Di Fiore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st match minute, Campestre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Fantini to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Terra hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute Ernesto Di Fiore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frédson Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Sport Club Indaiatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Campestre had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
