Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gernando Sá got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th match minute, Londrina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Senna to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Itaim SS's Haroldo Pires got control of the ball when Alexsandro de Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Ademir Lara in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Itaim SS's Giovani Barbosa. Joel Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Haroldo Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Itaim SS got a freekick which was hit by Giovani Barbosa. After a defensive mix-up in Londrina FC's zone, Gernando Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Falcão Urbano came out of the goal and Gernando Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Itaim SS's Haroldo Pires proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Itaim SS from getting a goal against them. Christian Koehler charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Koehler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Itaim SS's Christian Koehler got a free kick in the 25th minute. Giovani Barbosa hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Gernando Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Pires made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexsandro de Azevedo in the 40th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Itaim SS's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Senna came free, but Haroldo Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Itaim SS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Kauã Messias hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th match minute, Itaim SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Itaim SS defense, Léo Tande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haroldo Pires. The Itaim SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haroldo Pires should have stopped the shot. Christian Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Alexsandro de Azevedo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Itaim SS's Haroldo Pires. Haroldo Pires was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Londrina FC's Alexsandro de Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gernando Sá got free with Falcão Urbano in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Itaim SS getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Guilherme Ribeiro hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute Alexsandro de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85thth minute of the game Pedro Luiz Falcão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itaim SS's Haroldo Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute, Alexsandro de Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haroldo Pires was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 92 minutes into the match, Itaim SS's goal looked a bit too open when Alexsandro de Azevedo came free, but Haroldo Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Joel Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Londrina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 minutes of play, Londrina FC's Alexsandro de Azevedo made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Pires was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Londrina FC were the better team. Londrina FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
